Hernán Galíndez aka Hernán Ismael Galíndez, is a professional footballer. Currently, he plays for the Ecuadorian Serie A club Aucas and the Ecuador national team as a goalkeeper.

He also played for the CD Universidad Católica del Ecuador, with whom he helped his team win the Ecuadorian Serie B (1) title in 2012.

Next, he began to play for Rosario Central youth team. During his time with Rosario Central, he played 25 games and was later loaned for the 2010-11 season to Quilmes.

Then, he joined the team Rangers de Talca in 2012. In spite of that, he didn’t play any games as he was loaned to Universidad Catolica del Ecuador in the Ecuadorian Serie B.

With 319 appearances and a goal, he played for Universidad Catolica from 2013 to 2021. Similarly, he also joined the Universidad de Chile team.

Subsequently, signed a contract with SD Aucas on July 3, 2022, with an undisclosed fee.

Moving on to his international career, Galindez was a part of the Ecuador team that played in the 2021 Copa America. He played against Peru in the game.
